Our tax and bookkeeping consultant, John Park died a couple weeks ago from injuries in a freak accident.
We have lost so many close friends and family at Palladium Books over the last 10 years along with everything else that it was difficult to deal with another loss; especially such an unexpected one. John Park was a great guy and more than our accountant. John was my friend, a business advisor and a confidant.
I sought advice from him on business and even matters of health. We talked mostly by phone, but John would always make a point of driving over to the Palladium offices at least once or twice a year to visit. John could be cantankerous at times, but his heart was always in the right place and he always made time for me no matter what else was going on. I suspect he was like that with all of his clients.
John was a pretty creative and fun-loving guy behind that suit coat or sweater. And he cared about people more than I think he would sometimes let on.
As an accountant, he looked at our situation and was certain Palladium was done for. When I laid out our survival plan, John offered additional input and suggestions on downsizing. But what I thought was funny, and it gives you a glimpse into the good heart of Mr.
Park, was that he was quite certain Palladium could not survive. He continued to work with Palladium for years even though we could not afford to pay him. Like so many friends, John worked on credit. If we went under, all that work would have been done pro bono. It made me feel proud. And I think John felt proud for helping us succeed. Thank you, John. Our sincere condolences to the Park family and the multitude of friends who all loved him so. God Bless. And to all of you, the members our gaming family, enjoy the people you love while you have them.

Rawson is a great human being, hugely talented, and deserves this success. Keep killing it, Rawson. Both have been at the printer for awhile and theoretically should ship in November or December, but we do not know and they might not ship until January. We were supposed to have both books and the After the Bomb Hardcover reprint as of last week, but that was not the case.
Our hardcover printer has been experiencing extreme supply chain challenges and cannot give us an exact ship day. Fingers crossed for their arrival before Christmas.

We do not know what to expect this year, but it will probably be more of the same. Thus, we cannot guarantee packages shipped via Media Mail will arrive in time for the Holidays for orders placed after Black Friday. We have seen inconsistent service, delays, and the occasional lost package from the US Post Office for 18 months now, so you use Media Mail at your own risk.
Media Mail is the least expensive method of shipping in the US, but it is also one of the lowest priority classifications of mail.
Christmas rush took weeks to be delivered instead of the usual days. It was insane. This year the US Postal Service and Media Mail appears to be doing better, at least so far, but even now we are seeing spotty problems with delivery at various locations across the USA. I also enjoy the combat scene, smoke, and haze of war. Like Northern Gun and the Manistique Imperium, Titan Robotics sells freely to adventurers, mercenaries, and anyone who has the cash. Some are big bruisers while others are small and sleek. All of which provides fodder for adventure.
The anticipated page count is pages. Each description is updated, expanded, and highly detailed to present players with exotic and alien creatures as pets, guardians and riding animals, as well as slobbering monsters to battle and fierce beasts for Game Masters to throw at their players.

Some exciting things happened this week for friends of Palladium and we, ourselves, are in a constant state of enthusiasm and excitement due to the Christmas Surprise Packages. Love, love, love doing them and making you squeal for joy like a child on Christmas morning.

More so than ever with constant delays from our various printers due to supply chain issues. We got a little taste of winter here in Michigan this week with cold temperatures and an inch of snow this past Monday.
It melted away the next morning, but it was a reminder that the winter holidays are just around the corner. Of course, this being Michigan where the weather can change at the drop of a hat, it was back up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday, but back down into highs of temps in the 40s and lows below freezing today and for the foreseeable future.
